Ottawa’s KDM Analytics Awarded GOC Funding for Ground-Breaking Cyber Security Solution
Ottawa, Canada – KDM Analytics, a leading cyber-security assurance company based in Ottawa, today announced it has been awarded Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) funding from the Government of Canada. The funding will enable KDM Analytics to deliver a state-of-the-art, fully automated, cloud-based vulnerability and risk analysis solution that will benefit Canadian businesses and organizations who rely on computer networks.
Today, understanding, assessing, and managing the risks of cyber security is a laborious, costly, and challenging task. Security assessments are often not systematic or comprehensive, leaving systems vulnerable to multi-stage attacks that wreak havoc on government, industrial, and private domains regionally, nationally, and globally.
These increasing threats to the nation’s critical infrastructure and other online systems requires an innovative approach to security assurance. KDM Analytics’ solution is evidence-based and designed to address the enormity and complexity of cyber threats by analyzing attack options including multi-stage attacks, assessing vulnerabilities, and facilitating decision-making about how best to prioritize security mitigation tactics.
The solution provides transparency and traceability, and quantifies system exposure to threats. This brings objectivity to the risk assessment process with prioritized analysis of the security mitigations to optimize return on investment of systems that run in cyber space.
Djenana Campara, CEO and Co-Founder, KDM Analytics, said: “We are very pleased that KDM Analytics has been accepted into the SADI program. We are excited at the prospect of providing exceptional value to Canadian businesses and institutions through innovative protection of their critical cyber infrastructures and resources.”
